Last day of Chanukah

Introducing our new classroom theme "Transportation"

the children were so excited to help pic out pictures of the different ways they get to school

we practiced making lines out of play dough using the back and forth method with our palms

Beit Ball has arrived in our classroom, we practiced bouncing, throwing and balancing the ball

making latkes was so much fun and of course yummy!!!
we discussed where potatoes grow, we counted, peeled, grated, fried and then ate them all up

                                                         practicing counting objects

Our Tevet Rosh Chodesh program. The children love dumping their tzedakah boxes into the big school one and seeing how much we collected.  We made a Kotel using graham crackers, cream cheese and herbs. Children used Popsicle sticks to smear the cream cheese on and create lines/bricks then they sprinkled rosemary or parsley flakes spices to make the leaves.

OUr classroom airplane. We added new words to our vocabulary such as: Bracha the stewardess, all the children were passengers and of course our coolest pilots Moshe and Sivan.

                                                                 Our Beit puppets
We put together tracks so we can drive our cars from one city to the next.

We made our own jets using Popsicle sticks and tissue paper

We had a fun time making a train while practicing our shapes and colors
We are getting really good with driving most important we understand the purpose of a traffic light. Layla is playing a matching game.
This book was great! We loved all the different means of transportation in Israel, we especially love the camel ride!

Moshe is favorite way to get from place to place is riding a bike!

This was a fun game! Throw the correct color bean bag onto the correct color on traffic light. A perfect way to practice eye hand coordination.

kids enjoyed making tire marks on the shaving cream using all kinds of vehicles.

priceless - they are so into it!
                                                         A really fun sensory activity
