Community helpers/ Rosh Chodesh Program/ Yom Haatzmaut

Dancing to the songs of Lag Baomer

Bracha was such a great helper. Morah taught us all the different tools and their names that the Dr. uses.

We made get well cards for the children in the hospital then we folded, stuffed them into envelopes and put them away to give to the mailman

We made our own x-rays just like in the books we've been reading

We made our own Doctor kits

We played a memory/matching game and the kids got so excited when they got a match

We practiced rolling and unrolling the hose

Sargeant Gabriel Rennie spoke to us about the importance of safety and how he keeps us safe. We also discussed strangers and all the different weapons he carries with him. The children had a blast playing cops.

We made Israeli Flags and were happy to learn about our homeland!
Open- end art project. Each kid made their own fire trucks

Meet Jacob the Soldier from our Israeli Army

We colored pictures and thanked the soldiers in Israel, cant wait to mail it to them!
We chopped up cucumbers and tomatoes to make Israeli Salad

We also squeezed Fresh orange juice and drank it

Moshe eating Israeli salad his way - it was soooooo cute!

Praying by the Kotel. The children wrote letters to Hashem and stuck them on the Kotel.

We literally jumped into Israel. First we studied the map of Israel and then we jumped from city to city.

Welcome to Masada! The children "climbed" the mountain then walked on a balance beam and finally reached the top and got on a camel.

We made real chumus by squeezing chick peas in a plastic bag.
For lunch we had falafel, Israeli salad, Pita and Chumus. We truly felt like we were in Israel!
                                                           Yom Haatzmaut Sameach!
